New College of Florida Cook Hall Exterior Restoration / Reroofing

Long & Associates provided architectural and engineering services regarding water intrusion of this 1920’s era building, restored the historic exterior envelope and replaced historic windows and the existing clay tile roofing system with new historically accurate clay tile over a secondary water barrier.

Restoration of the building required measured drawings of the 2 finished floors, all exterior elevations, and a roof plan based on existing drawings supplemented with field survey work.

Interior finishes and historic details were restored as part of the remediation of water damage.
